Senior R&D Tax Accountant to join their growing team.
Evolv3 is a Perth-based advisory firm known for its work in innovation, strategy, and government grants - particularly in R&D Tax and commercialisation support. With a sharp, solutions focused team and a strong reputation across sectors, they work with clients in mining, technology, health, and other future-facing industries.
The Opportunity This is a hands on role in a high performing, close-knit team. You’ll work directly with business owners, CFOs, and technical leads to understand how innovation happens, then help translate that into strong, compliant R&D tax claims.
Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end delivery of R&D Tax Incentive claims
- Engage directly with clients to understand their projects and identify eligible R&D activities
- Prepare and review technical documentation and costing summaries
- Interpret legislation and provide advice around claim eligibility and structuring
- Work closely with internal advisors to support broader commercialisation strategies
- Stay up to date with ATO guidance and changes in R&D tax law
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (essential)
- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Chartered Tax Advisor or similar tax-specific qualification (preferred)
- Additional certifications in R&D Tax Incentive or taxation would be a plus
What You’ll Bring - At least 5 years’ experience in R&D Tax, accounting, or advisory
- Solid technical skills and the ability to simplify complex information
- Confidence engaging with clients at all levels
- A practical, commercial mindset and interest in innovation
