The Role:Ready to take your accounting career to the next level? As a Senior Accountant with this forward-thinking firm, you’ll be at the heart of everything — working directly with clients, tackling complex challenges, and playing a key role in driving business success. You’ll be preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS, while also mentoring and guiding junior team members. It’s the perfect mix of hands-on accounting work and client interaction!
What You’ll Do: - Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a variety of clients
- Be the go-to person for clients, helping them navigate their business challenges
- Dive into tax planning and advisory, giving clients the best advice
- Mentor and review junior staff, helping them grow their skills
- Keep your technical knowledge sharp and up to date
What We’re Looking For: - 2+ years of public practice experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid technical knowledge
- CA/CPA in progress or completed (bonus points if you’re already there!)
- Proficient with Xero
