Senior Accountant The Firm

Our client, a growing, progressive accounting firm based in the North Eastern suburbs. Led by a dedicated Director, their small but collaborative team provides expert tax, accounting, SMSF and business advisory services. They value strong client relationships and use advanced technology, including Xero, to enhance both client and team experiences.

Your Role Will Include:
  • Engaging and building relationships with clients
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs
  • Preparing BAS and FBT returns
  • Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
  • Assisting with business advisory services, for example structuring advice
  • Supporting workflow for the management team
Qualifications & Skills
  • CA/CPA Qualified, or currently studying
  • At least 4 years’ experience in business services within public practice
  • Strong experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • Confident communicator with great attention to detail
  • Experience in Xero (preferred) and BGL 360
  • Full Australian Working Rights
