Legal Secretary - Workers Compensation About the role:
Our Client, a national law firm, are seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join their dynamic Workers' Compensation team. With over 15 partners across NSW in multiple practice groups, our client are renowned for their expertise and success in the personal injury space.
  
The position requires an organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary specialising in workers' compensation to join their strong & experienced team. You will work 1:1 with a Lawyer in the team, providing them with comprehensive administrative and clerical support. The role requires  knowledge of workers' compensation law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management - Manage, organise, maintain and update caseload of Junior Lawyer.
  • Legal Documentation - Draft, format, proofread and file legal documents.
  • Diary Management - Schedule and manage calendar, ensuring deadlines and appointments are met; assist with time keeping processes.
  • Email Management  - Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Billing Management - Assist with billing processes as needed.
  
About You:
  • 2+ year's Plaintiff experience (advantageous)
  • Experience in Personal Injury; workers' compensation a bonus!
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
