Junior Accountant
The Opportunity:
The Andersen Partnership, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing cohesive and friendly team.
The suitable candidate will have recently graduated or due to graduate University with a degree related to Accounting or Commerce, and have a real eager to learn and grow within a firm long-term. Those with bookkeeping experience are welcomed to apply as well.
Your main responsibilities will be: - Bookkeeping and Payroll for our clients
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS’s and IAS’s and any other ATO related forms
- Preparation of Income Tax returns – individuals to begin with
- Company Secretarial requirements for our clients (ASIC)
- Various administration duties
To be successful you must: - Eager and motivated for career progression within a firm
- Currently studying or finished studying degree
- Great communication skills
- Looking to complete CA/CPA in the future (desirable)
