Internal Audit Roles - Intermediate to Principal Location: Perth, Western Australia

We are partnering with a top 20 public practice accountancy firm in WA to recruit skilled Internal Audit professionals at all levels, from Intermediate to Principal. These roles offer the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across sectors such as government, corporate, and not-for-profit, delivering impactful and meaningful outcomes.
 
About You
 
We’re looking for motivated professionals who:
  • Have experience in delivering program assurance, operational reviews, and/or financial statement audits.
  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications (accounting or commerce preferred) and professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA).
  • Excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills, with an eye for detail and process improvement.
  • Are proficient in leveraging technology for data analysis and auditing purposes.
  • Applicants must hold Australian Permanent Residency or full working rights (no visa sponsorship available) and be currently based in, or willing to relocate to, Perth.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering tailored internal audit strategies to align with client needs.
  • Promoting a proactive approach to governance, risk management, and continuous auditing practices.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 3 years of experience in internal audit within professional services or an in-house role.
  • A solid understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and internal controls.
  • A solutions-focused mindset, with proven skills in problem-solving, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced skills in audit software, data analytics, and report generation.
  • A drive for continuous learning and a passion for delivering innovative audit solutions.
