Intermediate Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate or Intermediate Accountant to join our clients team in Perth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and collaborative environment. As a key part of the finance team, you will be involved in a range of accounting tasks and gain exposure to various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Perform reconciliations, including bank, creditor, and debtor accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with BAS, GST, and FBT reporting.
- Collaborate with the team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with client queries and provide exceptional service.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 1+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
