About the Role As an Intermediate Tax Accountant, you’ll:
- Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Handle GST compliance, including BAS and IAS preparation.
- Assist with tax planning and advisory services for a diverse client portfolio.
- Liaise directly with clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- Support senior team members on complex tax matters and compliance projects.
About You - Experience: 2+ years of tax compliance experience within an Australian accounting firm.
- Qualifications: Progressing towards or completed CPA/CA qualifications.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance.
- Proficiency in tax software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Attitude: A proactive and client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
