Financial Reporting Analyst
Our client, a mid-tier accounting firm located in the Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their Outsourced CFO team. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a Financial Controller role, providing support to a variety of clients including ASX-listed companies, SMEs, and not-for-profit organisations.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage general ledger processes and implement controls to ensure accurate transactions and reconciliations.
- Review period-end reconciliations and accounting journals.
- Prepare management reports and present financial data to clients’ management teams and boards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Keep clients informed on regulatory and legislative changes affecting financial reporting.
- Prepare statutory financial statements, including half-year and full-year reports, and quarterly cash flow reports.
- Oversee the annual reporting and audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with ASX, ASIC, ATO, ORIC, and ACNC obligations.
About You: - A relevant degree and CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- A good understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and general accounting principles.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
