An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Controller to join our
CBD based Finance Team and help lead the day-to-day financial
partnership for the business on an initial 6 month contract.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the role is responsible for two direct
reports and the development and maintenance of a close working
relationship with a shared service centre. This is a hands-on
position which requires a confident and commercially minded finance
professional. The position is outwardly business facing, supporting and
influencing members of the leadership team across all functions of the
business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Oversight of the monthly Management Accounts and Reporting Suite
 Cashflow modelling; short and long term
 Oversight of cash receipts and bank reconciliations
 Oversight of the annual audit
 Support the preparation of Budget and Forecast
 Maintenance and improvement of Internal Controls
 Sign-off payment propositions from Accounts Payable
 Weekly preparation of the Store Team Performance Report including
commentary, insight and driving improvement
 Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns
 Manage, mentor and coach team members

Skills and Qualifications:

 CA/CA ANZ Qualified
 Previous experience working in a fast-paced and sometimes
unpredictable environment
 Previous experience working within the Entertainment/media space is
desirable
 Excellent communication skills, confident presenting
 Highly advanced Excel capability
