The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining high-quality financial processes and systems that support compliance and drive business insights for decision-making.
● Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:
● Assist with daily banking allocations and reconciliations
● Monthly credit cards reconciliation and payments
● Supporting with accounts close off and month end processes
● Preparing and posting adhoc monthly journals
● Support on preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
● Support with weekly cashflow forecasts
● Work collaboratively and cross functionally as required
● Assist with the Accounts Payable function as required
● Ensure team processes/tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and within set timeframes
● Other accounting duties and adhoc tasks as assigned from time to time
About You:
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills/experience/abilities:
● 2+years of relevant experience in a similar role
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
● Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
● Strong technical accounting skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
● Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
● Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative
