Finance Manager
Finance Manager - Professional Services - CBD Reporting to Head of Finance, this role is perfect for an experienced Finance Manager ready who wants to develop themselves in a challenging but rewarding environment. The role will mostly revolve around financial accounting support to the practice.
What you’ll be doing - Manage IT system updates, including iManage and APS, working with external providers
- Management of our month-end management accounts and reporting, GST returns and offshore consolidations
- Prepare and lodge tax returns and BAS returns for the firm and stakeholders
- Responsibility for bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, billing/revenue, balance sheet review, payroll, and managing our super provider.
- Managing monitoring and analysis on our financial model and KPIs, identifying variances and suggesting improvements and solutions.
- Managing and improving the internal controls and being responsible for financial risk management.
Requirements: - You are a fully qualified accountant who has previous professional services experience (CA, CA ANZ)
- You have strong experience with APS software and Excel
- You are an excellent communicator with an ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-departmental teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- You are constantly looking to improve and iterate and are excited by implementing strong financial and accounting principles and practices
