Finance Manager
An exciting opportunity to work as a number 2 in finance, supporting an experienced successful CFO who will support your development and growth in the role.
This role is office based close to Brisbane CBD.
The business has multiple facets, operating across Retail, food and drink, construction and entertainment. They have around 40 entities and have experienced success and growth in recent years.
The role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Weekly reporting
Month end reporting and analysis
Accruals
Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger
Controlling the balance sheet - stock a big focus
Supporting the team with invoicing
Progressing the careers of the finance team and teaching new skills to save time and increase accuracy where possible
Advantage to have:
Experience managing a team (team of 4 that would look to you for support in this role)
Netsuite
Strong excel skills - pivot tables, sum ifs, v look ups
Broad general accounting knowledge
An understanding of tax principles
This role will be paying a salary of between $120000 and $130000 + Super, dependent on relevant skill set and sector experience.
