Position Overview: As a
Broker Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Mortgage Brokers, assisting with the loan application process, and providing exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients. You will be the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through the mortgage process and ensuring smooth communication with lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the initial point of contact for both new and existing clients via phone and email, offering top-tier customer service.
- Schedule broker meetings and respond to client queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in preparing and lodging loan applications through Loan Market CRM software and Apply Online.
- Ensure all client files are accurately maintained and compliant with industry regulations.
- Manage client documentation throughout the loan application process, from start to finish, liaising with banks on behalf of clients.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with the management of client relationships in the internal CRM system.
- Provide administrative support to Mortgage Brokers, ensuring accuracy and completeness in loan submissions.
- Contribute to the development of efficient systems and processes for better service delivery.
- Support the ongoing client review program to ensure long-term relationships.
Experience and Qualifications: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, lending, or financial services, with a solid understanding of industry terminology and processes
- Knowledge of Australian lending regulations and lending processes
- Experience with MyCRM and Broker Engine is a plus
- Familiarity with the lending policies of NAB, ANZ, BOQ, Macquarie, and Westpac
- Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking or a desire to obtain this qualification
