Bookkeeper Bookkeeper - Professional Services Firm - CBD - Immediate Start - Possible temp to perm - $30-$40ph - Initial 3 month contract 

My client is a well established Professional Services firm looking to hire an enthusiastic Bookkeeper on an initial 3 month contract with a possible view to go permanent. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a bookkeeping/Assistant Accountant role and will be immediately Available. 

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Record, update and manage the APS database and other software the company uses
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required such as occasionally assisting reception, providing assistance with banking and posting, local pick-ups/deliveries, mail etc
  • Generate cover letters for clients, collating income tax returns and compilation reports
  • Management and recording of supplier invoices and disbursements
  • Preparation and recording of supplier payments, bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Scanning and filing into the document management system 
  • Maintaining and updating client information on ATO portal
About You:
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • Solid experience using MYOB, Excel, and APS 
  • Trust Account experience is a must 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with stakeholders and clients
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work effectively to meet deadlines
