Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper - Professional Services Firm - CBD - Immediate Start - Possible temp to perm - $30-$40ph - Initial 3 month contract My client is a well established Professional Services firm looking to hire an enthusiastic Bookkeeper on an initial 3 month contract with a possible view to go permanent. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a bookkeeping/Assistant Accountant role and will be immediately Available.
Role & Responsibilities: - Record, update and manage the APS database and other software the company uses
- Undertake administrative tasks as required such as occasionally assisting reception, providing assistance with banking and posting, local pick-ups/deliveries, mail etc
- Generate cover letters for clients, collating income tax returns and compilation reports
- Management and recording of supplier invoices and disbursements
- Preparation and recording of supplier payments, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Scanning and filing into the document management system
- Maintaining and updating client information on ATO portal
About You: - A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar role
- Solid experience using MYOB, Excel, and APS
- Trust Account experience is a must
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with stakeholders and clients
- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work effectively to meet deadlines
