Administrative Assistant | Accounting Firm | Melbourne Inner/ Northern Suburbs A highly reputable and steadily growing accounting firm located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and prior experience in an accounting administrative role.
Key Responsibilities: - Direct client interaction via phone and email
- Appointment coordination, onboarding/offboarding clients, and maintaining the client database
- General administrative support including mail, scheduling, and ad-hoc tasks
- Liaising with the ATO to arrange lodgement deferrals, payment plans, and penalty/interest remissions
- Preparation and management of ASIC annual review mailouts, due dates, and reminders
- Assisting with company and trust setups, including ABN/TFN/GST registrations
About You: - 1–2 years of experience in an administrative role within an accounting firm
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Highly organised and skilled at multitasking
- A team player with a proactive and positive mindset
- Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure
