Senior Accountant
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join an supportive and progressive firm, in the Eastern suburbs, as a Senior Accountant. This business, with over 50 staff, has been established for a number of years and are growing significantly. Because of this they are seeking an ambitious Accountant to support this growth and manage key client relationships.
They work hands on with clients providing advice and adding value to create efficiency, quality and long term success. They work with some significant businesses with large amounts in turnover and operate in a range of industries, not only providing compliance but also advice to help these clients to continue to grow.
They are looking to secure a Senior Accountant who is capable of looking after a portfolio of clients and act as a direct point of contact, with the opportunity to step towards Management within 12 months, if it is desired. You would be responsible for hands on advisory work including board reporting and tax consulting, especially around CGT & Div 7a.
About You
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role across Business Services/ Business Advisory
- CA/CPA qualified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal directly with clients & manage relationships
- Strong technical knowledge across areas such as CGT, Small Business Concessions & Division 7a
