Public Practice Administrators If you're ready to explore new career opportunities before the new financial year, I'm currently seeking candidates for a range of business support roles within the Accounting industry, from entry-level to senior positions. 

We are currently hiring for a variety of roles, including Junior Administrator, Receptionist, Corporate Secretarial, Senior Administrator, Tax Administrator, EAs and General Administrative Support. 

These positions cater to candidates at all levels, from those just starting out to experienced professionals looking to advance their careers within the accounting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally, handling or redirecting inquiries as needed.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning, sorting, and distribution.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems with accurate naming and archiving.
  • Prepare and send BAS/IAS statements, ensuring client info is current.
  • Build client relationships through clear communication; attend meetings as needed.
  • Manage client appointments, onboarding, offboarding, and team calendars.
  • Keep client databases up to date with accurate records and details.
    Assist with billing and invoicing, including drafting and payment follow-up.
  • Prepare and lodge tax returns, BAS, IAS, and payroll tax documents.
  • Liaise with the ATO on deferrals, payment plans, and remissions.
  • Support ASIC tasks like company registrations and annual statements.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and setting up system access.
  • Contribute to documenting and improving internal admin processes.
    Provide general admin support, including formatting, spreadsheets, events, and ad hoc tasks.

  • Prior experience in an admin role (ideally within the accounting industry)

  • Experience working with tax administration/ 
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Deadline-driven with a strong work ethic and initiative
  • Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as XERO, MYOB AE, or CAS BGL 360 is a bonus
