Finance Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join a rapidly growing global consumer goods company. This role will lead the finance function across the Australia & New Zealand region and serve as a key business partner to both regional leadership and global finance stakeholders.

We’re seeking a commercially savvy and dynamic finance leader who can deliver operational excellence, analytical rigor, and strategic financial direction in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Compliance
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for AU/NZ entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP/IFRS and internal audit requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Ensure full compliance with AU/NZ tax, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
  • Deliver detailed financial insights, scenario analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the global finance team to align local initiatives with corporate objectives.
Operational Finance
  • Oversee daily finance operations and support the Finance Administrator.
  • Improve financial processes through automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support payroll activities, including superannuation and coordination with external providers.
Reporting & Business Partnering
  • Manage budgets and reporting for trade promotions, pricing strategies, and marketing investments.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, variance analyses, and financial projections.
  • Deliver regular updates on EBITDA forecasts and overall business performance.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles.
  • CPA/CA (or equivalent) designation strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of AU/NZ tax laws, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience within FMCG or CPG sectors, particularly involving trade spend and product costing.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Previous collaboration with US-based or global finance teams is advantageous.
